Impact Awards 2008 – Nominees Video Profiles

A Michael Conti Video Productions completed 5 video profiles on the Boulder Valley School Educators nominated for the Impact Awards and awarded at the Glenn Miller Ballroom on the University of Colorado Campus on Thursday, April 17 2008. At the end of the evening, there was not a dry eye in the house.

The videotaping of each nominate required an intimate interview with educator at their school. Our goal was to capture the affirming story behind why the educator was nominated, and who inspired them to their path. These interviews were supplemented with additional footage of students at work and play, supporting interviews from parents, staff and students. The end result was about an hour of content for each nominee which was then edited down to a four minute piece that was shown at the awards ceremony prior to each acceptance speech.

A Michael Conti Video Productions is honored to be part of the event and to have the opportunity to spend time with each of the nominees in the process of making this video.

Now its 17th year, Impact on Education, a community partnership with Boulder Valley Schools recognizes educational excellence by providing a visible forum and awards to individuals who make extraordinary contributions to public education.
