A MICHAEL CONTI video production provides a Special Flat Rate* to Boulder-based alternative practitioners whom might benefit from having a healing, meditation, therapy, dance/yoga or gathering documented on video.

For only $400 dollars which includes a rough cut with the all the footage,  MCP will attend your function for a minimum of 2 hours.  Additional time can be booked if necessary.  You can use the resulting footage to review for performance or create additional shorter videos for online marketing, instruction or social media.

Post production costs are in addition to the production services fee.  Editing is much more open ended than videotaping which is why it is important to have a conversation with us prior to the video being shot.  Generally, expect to require 2 hours of editing time for each hour of content captured during a video shoot.   Depending upon what your needs are with the final video, your post production costs can be covered within an additional $500 dollars. Additional time can be booked if necessary.

The following client’s videos illustrates the trademarks of MCP’s cost-efficiencies, quality of services and film making professionalism:

Michael Conti Productions completed four web commercials for Premier Group Insurance of Denver.  The subject matter of the four videos was:  join as an independent broker, availability of business, home and automobile insurance to new customers. Each video was comprised of one of the company’s principles
speaking to their area of expertise while seated in an office setting. The longer of the four videos involved seven different independent brokers answering off-camera questions on why they chose to work with PGI.

Here are the four videos on the client’s website:

The technical setup was a SONY HDV-Z1U Digital Video Recorder mounted on a tripod along with a three point lighting kit, and wired lav along with a painted backdrop.  A simple setup to control without needing a crew at hand and on the clock.

All the footage was filmed in one day at both the Denver and Greeley offices.  In order to keep a consistent look for the independent broker’s testimonials, MCP  employed the use of a painted backdrop and switched the seating half way through the shoot. This enabled the final video to have a nice fade from the person on the right hand side of the screen to the next person speaking, appearing on the left hand side.  It also reduced any background distraction and made the shoot in Greeley look seamless.  It is also possible to flip the person in post but sometimes this can look strange.

For filming efficiencies, it is important to be prepared with your questions before the person giving the testimonial appears on camera. Better yet, PGI provided the questions to their brokers the day before along with suggestions on what to wear.  Because of that early effort along with fact that someone from the company was actually asking the questions, the actual shooting went very smoothly.  The two other spots were more script intensive and required the on-camera talent to read the script as it was held just to the right of the lens. Obviously, this solution isn’t perfect as the eye-line drops unless the paper “scrolls” up.  Another easier solution is to employ a teleprompter which MCP has provided in the past.

Post production involved providing the client with online access to a rough cut along with a DVD that could be used to create a timing edit list.  This approach was especially important for the broker testimonials as the initial rough footage ran close to 45 minutes, and the final video needed to be under seven minutes in length.  Once the client provided the initial notes, the video was down to 17 minutes, and finalized in a short video editing session.  The product  presentations were more straight forward since they involved a single person, and takes could be combined by adjusting framing from wide to tight with out appearance of a jump cut.

The final videos comprised 12 minutes of material which Premier Group Insurance will highlight on their website as well as promote through social media channels.

Don’t Get Yourself Arrested! Hire a Professional Videographer

Professional video partner brings a lot more to the table than just a guy with a video camera.

Michael Conti Video Productions of Boulder is a highly skilled and experienced team that understands how to efficiently complete projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Our focus is on delivering visually captivating and compelling final products. We also pride ourselves on our ability to work within reasonable budgets, ensuring that your video is not only successful but also cost-effective. We believe that the success of your business is our priority, which is why we are dedicated to helping you grow and seize new opportunities. Together, we can achieve great things.

The following HD video examples represents work done for Denver Attorney V. Iyer who specializes in criminal defense law.  The goal of each video is to pick a topic that Mr. Iyer addresses on-camera, and is compelling to organic searches and pulls the video to the top of the page for that specific key word phrase.  For instance, if someone got a DUI over the holidays, and was doing a search online for an attorney in Denver, the video with this topic in it could drive new clients to Mr. Iyer.   This technique is known as Video SEO (video search engine optimization) and was done initially in partnership with  Key Market Communications.

While a client can choose to do multiple videos in one setting or stagger them monthly, video SEO works best when there are three or more videos online.  Each video consists of Mr. Iyer introducing himself near one of Denver’s many court houses in order to establish his presence to the viewer with his professional domain.   We also shot each opening video from a lower sight-line thus giving Mr. Iyer additional creditability and authority.   Finally each video topic was summarized in Mr. Iyer’s Law Office which helps to establish more professionalism and character.

The production of each professional video required having a good audio in the field through a wireless microphone.  This microphone  allowed Mr. Iyer the ability to move towards camera while speaking, adding more drama and urgency to his message.  Most of the camera shots were done on a tripod with a focus of keeping the image steady and controlled so that the focus can be on the urgency of the message given by Mr. Iyer.  Since the videos are distributed online, it is important to remember to fill the frame as much as possible with the subject matter, and create a compelling reason to continue to watch.  Several tricks that we use are doing a slow move towards the subject as well as re-framing  for better composition (both of which can be done in post).

The post production stage provided color correction, audio and music mixing along with lower third titles and closing credits that presented the domain site’s URL (which is “read” by Google).

The end result are a series of legal marketing professional videos which will provide Mr. Iyer with a steady stream of online clients that have been introduced to him by his online videos on topics that have importance to them.  See how the videos look on YouTube.  The videos are also found on the client’s website in the video library.
